Nope, definitely not faster....I did it twice and both times 56 words per minute. That was fun!!
64 words per minute...bummer. although i think i'd be faster if the were sentences i was typing.
Oh - I've done that one before - it's fun!! I'm at 66 though, so you're still winning!
That was fun! I played with it a few times and averaged right around 82 words per minute. So we're pretty close to the same!
107, but that's because it was my JOB for years and years to type. Now, I get to join the ranks of the others who let dirty dishes sit in their sink, and ignore the toys that need to be picked up, laundry that needs to be folded, and floor that needs to be mopped. Fun!
my typing teacher would be horrified! I did discover that I am very fast at correcting my typing...I almost instinctively backspace to erase what I know is misspelled. i must practice...must attain my level of former glory!

47 slow but correct words per minute. For someone who never took typing and only began blogging the first of the year this is my improvement from Peck....peck....peck....erase....peck more.....erase.....give up. I also fail the word verification a LOT! Sigh... can't they make them less on top of and look alike other letters?

MAN you can type fast. Maybe it's the 14 month old pulling on me as I try valiantly to be a fast typer. You know, my hubby the big biz'ness exec, asks how many words a minute you can type and he equates that (through some really amazing mathematical calculation, I'm sure) to how productive you will be as an employee. Can you imagine how long it took me to type all those big words (you know, 'mathematical' and 'calculation') at my incredibly productive 50 words per minute. Now Baby is screaming and pulling on me, so I am probably even slower. Oh and kids trying to talk to me and the dinner timer going off and...
Now on to my daily typing challenge (and annoyance): Word Verification.

Way to go, Em! I am not that great a typest. But I will not be broadcasting my score because I am sure that adults are supposed to type fast.
I love doing those tests... it always varies.
I got 76 the first time and 74 the next. I kept thinking the number on the left was my score and so I kept trying to go faster. :) Then I figured out it was the time clock.
How do you type that fast? I did it several times and my highest was 55 wpm. And Mercy? Good grief! 107???
